Marine Use
Austral Plywoods has manufactured plywood for marine applications for many years. All plywood is produced to Australian standards in compliance with the EWPAA-JAS-ANZ product certification scheme.
Interior Use
Austral Plywoods manufactures a range of products specifically designed for interior use. Our interior bonded plywood is pressed at lower temperatures, leaving the face veneer with a cleaner and brighter appearance than an "A" bonded plywood. The result is a more aesthetically pleasing clear finish.
Furniture Grade Plywood
Depending on the finish required, Austral Plywoods manufactures a range of products to suit all furniture applications. If the core is a feature of your furniture then we would recommend our marine plywood, as this grade is virtually free of core gaps. For curved furniture, our bendy plywood is best, simplifying the previously painstaking methods used to create curved forms.
Lightweight
Austral Plywoods manufactures a range of lightweight panels perfect for caravan and bus construction, office partitioning and many other applications where weight minimisation is critical. We offer several different surfaces (including timber and aluminium) and core materials. Quality is important, and that is why we utilise a European glue system to achieve durable bonds.
